• Stephen A. Spearman, Ph.D., MBA

General Manager, Dr. Spearman has over 30 years of experience including many positions of senior and executive management. For the first two-thirds of his career, he had positions of increasing responsibility at Ciba-Geigy, including seven years in development and manufacturing in Switzerland. In 1996, he took the step into biotechnology with Pharmacopeia, Inc. His responsibilities with Pharmacopeia began as Executive VP of Operations and he later became Chief Operating Officer for the company. Dr. Spearman brings to Diosynth hands-on and project and management experience in research, development, manufacturing and operations.

• Henrik Edeback

Vice President, Finance. Mr. Edeback has served as Corporate Controller, Vice President, Finance and Administration for Nobel Industries and Akzo Nobel Pulp and Paper Chemicals, North America since 1983. He played an instrumental role in the company's rapid growth and success in becoming a leading supplier of chemicals to the North American Pulp and Paper Industry. He accomplished this by combining organic growth and acquisitions enabling rapid response to changes in market demand.

Vice President, Quality and Regulatory. Mr. Patterson has served in several executive and senior level quality positions in his over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He gained expertise through his work at Bayer Corporation, Becton-Dickinson Research Center, Baxter International and Marion, Merrill, Dow. Mr. Patterson brings senior executive experience in compliance, productivity, quality, and regulatory strategy to Diosynth.
